Logistics and Transport Specialist with German and English proficiency

In this role, you will closely collaborate with customs authorities to ensure the swift clearance of shipments and on-time delivery. Your primary objective is to ensure that all inspections and formalities are conducted efficiently, in accordance with regulations, and within deadlines. Effective, courteous, and professional communication, as well as active problem-solving, are crucial aspects of this role.
During a typical workday:
- You will be preparing customs documents based on provided shipping documentation.
- You will verify the correctness of all customs documents.
- You will communicate with clients via email and phone to obtain any missing or unclear information required for customs clearance.
- You will ensure that all shipment information is accurately entered into the relevant systems.
- You will review customs documents to meet internal standards and ensure quick border crossing.
- Fluent knowledge of German and English (minimum B2 level).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-centric focus and excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure.
- Ability to make independent decisions based on knowledge and experience.
